The World Conference on Computers in Education will commence with a doctoral consortium on Sunday, 2nd July at the Irish Computer Society Headquarters, Ballsbridge, Dublin 4. The doctoral consortium will operate as a pre-conference session for research students to practice their presentation and get feedback from active researchers.
This event will be chaired by Prof. Christine Bescherer, University of Ludwigsburg, Germany; Prof. Dr Jaana Holvikivi, Helsinki Metropolia University of Applied Sciences, Finland; Prof. Dr Javier Osorio, Universidad de Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Spain; and Prof. Dr Andreas Schwill, University of Potsdam, Germany. The doctoral consortium will run from 9am-5pm, and during this time twelve papers will be presented. There will be time allocated to analyse and discuss the papers presented throughout the day.
This event will be of particular interest to PhD students as by attending they will have the opportunity to develop their paper writing and presentation skills further.
