Submitting your papers – FAQs
If I submit for a symposium, do I need to include presenter names or not?
Yes, please do include presenter names. The anonymous submissions apply to full papers, rather than to symposia.
Where will the papers be published?
When papers are accepted for presentation, the abstracts will be published in the conference proceedings, and these will be made available during the conference itself. Papers that are accepted for publication in the post-conference Springer book will be subject to any revisions that are specified when reviewers’ comments have been received, prior to the conference. Notification of acceptance will be sent out before the early-bird rate expires. However, at least one author will need to present the paper at the conference. But the final paper will not need to be completed and submitted until after the conference.
Is it possible to use a LaTeX file rather than the MS Word template?
Yes, it is possible to use the LaTeX file that Springer provide, but please note that the final format of the paper will need to be in the format shown in the MS Word template.
Does the extended deadline apply to the Doctoral Consortium as well?
Yes – the extended deadline for submissions applies to all of these, which includes submissions for the Doctoral Consortium.
